Yet people were saying Borkovic was a more-deserving champion than Azcona

Anyway if you have watched the races, Sutton really impressed me his with driving. He made some brillant moves as Vernay did. They were the best drivers in Barcellona in my opinion |

From what I've seen, Borkovic tried to turn but he had the rear left suspension collapsed so he then crashed into the unlucky Tassi... but maybe I'm wrong... |

Excellent first event from Sutton. Fastest Golf, first time out with tyre and ballast penalties.

"Tassi and Files has hit me on purpose and they broke my wheel. I need to get that back, so I hit Tassi, because it's only fair that both of us retire." It's on his fb account. If you someone who knows Serbian, besides me, you can ask them to translate it for you. |

In terms of overtakes, in Race 1 he started 6 and finished 4th after Files got a delaminating tyre and after Azcona got out of the way to protect his championship. I. race 2 he started 4 and finished 3rd after pushing Terting out of the way. Hardly brilliant overtaking. It will be interesting to see how he compares to others when in the same equipment. Only Verney used speed of Audi to overtake people on the straight. But it's touring cars, it's ok to be little aggressive, just don't put the people of the track. |

Agree that ‘rubbing is racing’ as used by Sutton on Terting and that Vernay used the Audi’s speed to overtake on the straights so I still fail to see how Sutton’s 1 overtake on Terting and Vernay using the Audi’s on the straights means that their overtaking was ‘brilliant’ Perhaps i am missing something 😂😂

The regulars getting irritated is inevitable when a young hotshot makes his first appearance in the last round of a championship they've been racing all season. |

For Sutton was the first euro race and he was immediately on the pace and able to fight with the best. That was impressive Quote:

Sutton was the only one who looked like he wanted to overtake, the rest of the grid looked happy to follow each other round until someone made a mistake or had a puncture. I don't class that as touring cars. It was quite boring other the Sutton attacks.
Others will disagree with me I'm sure. |

KCMG drivers were looking for result to bring home the team Championship, maybe the others wanted only a good finish without doing mistakes or damages |

Agreed. All VAG (Cupra, VW and Audi) models lack the front-end turn-in and also corner-exit traction of the Honda, and especially the Hyundai. I hope there is an upgrade package for the vehicles, BoP can only mask so much.

You simply got hurt by the BTCC years ago and then go around the internet lambasting anything remotely to do with it. I'm sure the people in the TCR threads will see that over time.
