There was a fair amount of action against four wheels off over the GP weekend when it was gaining a noticeable advantage. A couple of people had all their qualifying times struck out and put to the back of the grid (notably a rather prominent Porsche driver).

Thats good to hear- thanks for that! The way BBC were talking it was as if it was being accepted. F1 pilotes however from in car shots were being good boys, as you would expect!

Just got the last paperwork in post- preparer's area vehicle passes- so will be fighting for space with Delta and the other big boys!

And phone call with more good news- Morgan gearbox being run in as we speak- so that just leaves Gilbern engine to be put back together and work....

Spare lump sitting by car just in case

They're not Mike but 'support' races are often (usually?) subject to national rather than FIA judicial procedures and the results of those very rarely get as far as the commentators, at least on TV coverage.

What change of promoter? Although the payee name on the cheque I sent for our stand was different, it was still Goose Communications organising so I assumed it was just a new trading name. But now you come to mention it, someone else mentioned that it was "the old team" back at the helm.

That said, I haven't received my passes yet and emails not replied to...

Yow! That explains why I haven't received my passes! And the blighters have cashed my cheque

Bit late in the day for that to happen, presume there's an owing money scenario. Still, as long as they bring in the Billies who am I to worry unless the promotion's been somewhat lacking?

We will race with LMC leftovers!

Sunbeam Harrington and Speedster to amble round in Pre 63.
May be 1936 Alta in Woodcote, that's still questionable. It's 14 years older than any other car entered.
Lola 210 in WSM that is still to be confirmed.
Gareth has another drive but thats enough after last weekends LMC

Does anyone know if taxis are available at Turweston airfield on Sat 24th? or do I need to make other arrangements?

Cheers.

Also, do BRDC members get into the event and can they get any visitors in as well? or do I pay 40 quid at the gate?
