When I think about it, I am full sure that Andy actually had an AHS engine. I am nearly 99% sure of this.

This happens sometimes in the sinister world of motor racing. Sometimes all is not what it originally seems to be!!!!

Hows the car coming on BradenC. Have you entered Silverstone? Have you had a chance to do any more testing?

Haven't tested since mallory, and cant really justify £150 test at stone for friday.

I have entered for SStone and the car is more or less ready, just doesn't look too tidy, but I'm going to strip and rebuild over winter, so for now it's about making sure it's safe and gets through scrute.

chezza, there are curently 50 odd entrants but with a move to practice saturday and race sunday I reckon you may lose 25% of those. Shame.

I think friday at stone is 3x50m. Sounds too much really.

There will still be 40+ entrants and thats still plenty for a full heat and final.

I should ask robin really, but as Vee practice is on saturday afternoon, does that mean I (a novice) have to be at the saturday morning briefing?

Or will there be a saturday pm briefing?

For the heat final assuming 50 entrants, fastest 20/25 from practice go through, leaving 25/30 to race in the heat. The top 7/12 from the heat go through to the final.

FYI last year there was no heat, a grid of 32 for the final, practice times of 1.05 - 1.15 with 1.13.5 geetin last row of the grid for final.

I'm used to them...usually up at half 4 on the saturday morning to go to silverstone for the weekend, don't usually get home on the sunday til about 9pm!

Luckily that weekend I'm supposed to be staying in the area (if thats still the plan??) on the Friday night so not quite such an early start!
