*sigh* I shall clarify "oh look, Honda have issued another worthless press release about a driver they won't do anything with. All hail the next Darren Manning/Adam Carroll/James Rossiter" |

Well i'm sure if you take your viewpoint to Honda F1 they would listen very carefully and possibly even take Conway off their development scheme. They probably don't know much about racing and would be happy to listen to your assumption, as would Martin Brundle and Mark Blundell. |

The Honda Junior team is anything but. They sign up more guys than Renault or Toyota, and do absolutely nothing with them. I take that back. You get a sticker on your car.

Anyway, I hear from a Honda F1 employee that it is only for a test and that it's being paid for, so not much of a development scheme, yet. |

Renault sign up more guys than Honda. Honda don't exactly do nothing with their young drivers, a lot of drivers I am sure would love to be in Rossiter's position, being a test driver for Honda F1, Manning is an IRL driver, Sato and Davidson are now Grand Prix drivers who were signed up to the development scheme way back in 2001.

Boy, it got kinda chippy in here in a hurry huh?
Where were we? I can't find the testing schedule anywhere. The next test is Silverstone, when? |

Nicely put, L2LO!
The next test is at Silverstone on Thursday as part of the Media Day. It's kinda pointless as it's being held on the short National circuit, which is not one the F3 guys race on. But it will be interesting to see how they all manage running on the confirmed '07 tyre. Some teams may adapt more quickly than others. I reckon Asmer will be fastest again if he's back from Japan. |

I did say 'if he's back from Japan'!
My hunch is that he'll give Suzuka a miss and be back in the UK, but we'll have to wait until Thursday to find out. I'm also curious to see who'll be driving the second Mygale. They've tried three or four drivers now and I reckon Ben Clucas is their best bet if they're both up for the challenge. |

I feel if Ben Clucas has finally managed to get a decent budget together to do a competitive F3 ch'ship, he may as well race a Dallara to get good results on the CV which he deserves. I'm not saying the Mygale won't get results, but there is a lot of serious development work ahead to try and get close to the Dallara. But as you say, if he is up for the challenge, Ultimate have the best driver combination to develop the car.
I'm guessing Stuart Hall isn't back this year then? Does anyone know what Ronayne O'Mahony is doing this year? |

I haven't heard Stuart Hall's name mentioned for a while. Carlin may yet run a fifth car, but I don't think it would be for him. Ronayne O'Mahony hasn't been mentioned at all, has he? Either here or on the Euroseries thread. Maybe his Dad has decided that he's spent enough! |
