Alex - Simbin have done a 1.2 patch for GTR that lets you do the whole Spa 24hrs (day - dusk - night - dawn - day) or you can drive the track in any of the time states. I just did a race with the Dawn lighting, its really nice
The patch also includes a few extra cars (Mosler, Porsche GT3 Cup, Gilet Vertigo) to make the full 2003 Spa 24hr grid - 50-odd cars in total. Its pretty cool heading down to Eau Rouge in the dark with all 50 cars on track headlights a-blaze.... Last edited by AndyM; 3 Jan 2005 at 23:24. |

GTR is not officially released in the UK yet - but I bought it from Amazon.de a month or so back, and then translated the game from German to English via a download. It will be released in the UK sometime in Q1 this year.
I really should fire up F1C again and do some serious laps in SCC or ProtoC, but I had a play the other day in SCC and went back to GTR after a couple of laps. Its amazing how quickly you get used to something new, I must have done a thousand of laps in ProtoC and SCC before GTR arrived, and now they feel inferior |

Don't worry Andy, you'll hanker for real sportscars again, eventually......

Of course they're real sportscars.... But the realest sportscars are always going to be the prototypes in my book, whether they are open or closed. Perhaps that's the reason why I can't get as excited about GTR as everyone else seems to be.......

It's a fresh install, didn't have any time to download/install any updates yet.
All the '67 cars are still original! |
