haggispeed has a lot of promise if they can keep it on the circuit!
He's just doing that to make me panic about how much I've got to do before the meeting !

I may have to miss this one after all. Something came up that needs my attention but I'll know nearer the time.

Welcome, Herman TG

Like Steve I only started last year, had one meeting at Donnington before it closed and then on to Oulton Park - what a cracking bunch they are!

You will quickly be told the only silly question is the one one you don't ask! So ask away! Stay safe and enjoy.

By the way Steve - how much longer to go?

As others have said welcome to the marshalling fraternity, (whatever colour overall you choose to wear) as an oulton regular i can safely say that its a freinedly bunch, yes there are are a few cliques but they are not exclusive
so be prepared for a bit of stick and give it back

I'm in assembly for this one as am "babysitting" the cadet's (BARC meet) but will be trackside for others so please say hello and dont be afraid to ask any questions you may have, it's the only way to learn

Fosters hasnt been used for a while when i've been trackside so it will be a change to see the circuit being used and have the short lap times it brings to cope with as well

herman t g (a.k.a. steve.p.)
If it's a club meeting i.e. not F3GT or TOCA usually about a week before the meeting.

However, it also depends on when the Chief Marshal received the tickets from the circuit.

Herman (aka Steve) just to add my welcome to the orange team at Oulton, wish you all the best and thank you for doing what you do (all of you). Hopefully won't see anything of you this year..... 'cos I'm a driver and that will mean the new tyres didn't have as much grip as I thought they did !!!

Welcome to the orange (insert colour) brigade. I'll be there on 27th. Got most number of days at Oulton this year 14 at the moment.

Great gang at OP don't be afraid to ask anything. There have been many new recruits in the last few years thanks to Nadine's efforts so most people are used to questions and judging by the training day there are going to be many trainees out this season. (of which I'm still one at moment - fingers crossed for assessments early in the season).

Welcome to both the orange side and to Oulton. For the sake of us older generation, please avoid text speak, I have to find a teenager to translate it for me. (It is mentioned in the FAQ).

And before everyone starts giving me translations, I coped with that one!

Only a week? Better clean my bag out.
