I'm sure i've heard safety car mentioned somewhere. Do you have any sources suggesting that they've scrapped the ideas of safety cars?

I'd be kind of surprised if they binned the warm up lap, too. Afterall, they're working hard to make the tyre degredation realistic, and I would have thought the warm-up lap would be a part of this. I wonder if they're allowing front wing adjustments during the race?

I agree entirely. They promised us a simulation, yet are missing out on key aspects of what makes Formula 1, well, Formula 1.

I'm not going to write it off just yet though, I'm still hoping that they deliver on physics. The wet weather stuff looks mighty promising too, I have to say.

Because at the end of the day, they still have a game to sell and money to make! I guess it would be nice if there was an option for safety car and formation laps at least, but they aren't the bits of F1 we really care about. If it not being a total simulation is a problem this game will be horrible for you... as I'm pretty sure there will be an awful lot more overtaking than in real life!
