Given Rod's contacts I don't think we should be doubting him necessarily - just because it isn't already published somewhere doesn't mean it might not be true Rumours abound that the GP could yet move...

Don't believe everything on the BRSCC-SE website. They still have BSB as a definate date on 7/8th Oct. It was moved to 30 Sep/1st Oct at least 2 weeks ago.

The 2006 SCSA Coca-Cola Cup calendar is as follows (new dates to those originally announced). All meetings at the Rockingham (UK) oval as discussed at length on other forums:

6th/7th May
24th/25th June
8th/9th July
12th/13th August
9th/10th September (incl Short oval racing)
7th/8th October

SCSA+Pickups + Supports TBA (organised by BRSCC)

That date is a BARC HQ date not a castle combe racing club date. Its one of the rounds of the dunlop festival thingy.
