Omex say use ArmTech
Having previously said on this tread that I had problems with Omex I have now checked the car and I have an ArmTech limiter fitted. I called Omex (www.omextechnology.co.uk) and they say if the ignition is points based use ArmTech (www.armtech.co.uk) instead as the software is more suitable for points. Both systems are manufactured by the same company.

Some time back (20 years) I helped a man who it might be considered by some as one of the best Crossflow engine builders at the time. He used to build Will Hoys engine when they were in Thundersports. He taught me a few things and one thing about ignitions was that he used a man who converted Jaguar V12 sets into 4 pot systems. Of all the engines he did he said he had a 100% reliability record. He is said now to be too busy doing other things.
I've been running the same for 20 years on a FF without breakdown. The nearest system to it (all combined and compatible) are being sold on ebay by a man near Gatwick I understand to be equally as good he's called bestek. |
