Congrats Stan!!! I think Sterling needed the win.

It was NASCAR's fault Rosie, they weren't there to enforce the penalty...so not much they can do.

Jeremy ALMOST won

I'm sorry, but I really don't get the deal with the penalty not being enforced. I mean Sterling broke the rules by speeding down pitlane, plain and simple. What difference does it make WHEN the penalty is enforced. Are the Nascar officials taking tips from the FIA on how to be inconsistent .

I'm a little cranky because I was so tired at one point I fell asleep and missed a portion of the race. But none of my favourites did all that well today, except for Mayfield of course.

RD, they explained on Fox that the penalty is always enforced at the end of the pit stop, that's why they didn't call Sterling back in.

So is red flagging the race one week & not the next under pretty much the same circumstances. But we are at the mercy of the NASCAR Gods.

First 2 races saw calls that hurt Sterling.
I'm glad that Nascar finally showed some "good" judgement.

At least we got through a race without hearing about the Red Flag controversy.

I just wish a race would end with out any weirdness that makes it "controversial" You bet this is going to be the talk this week!

Lars- I know it's not Sterlings fault that NASCAR screwed up. In fact- He got to win BECAUSE of NASCAR mistake. He wouldn't have won if they were ontop of it & would have enforced the penilty. Sterling did nothing wrong (except speed on pit road) but benefit from their stupidity.

Congrats Sterling- You are a lucky SOB! (& remember- I do like Dodges)

3 races in now, some controversy in all 3 !!!
Last year was a year or tragedy and irony.
Maybe this will be the year of controversy.

Yeah, I thought I was watchin' Wrasslin' there fer a minute.

If they aint gonna give you a trophy (or even if they do), at least them fellers in Nashville know how to do it right as far as I'm concerned. In the Busch races there, they give the winners Gibson Les Paul Customs!
