Surely Sato gets an honorable mention. He was the first one that took a shot at eliminating both of the red cars. Team orders perhaps?
But seriously, I have to go with Trulli also. The only thing missing from his weekend was fastest lap of the race. |

Only one man this weekend. Jarno Trulli, for the second consecutive race. Superb performance all weekend, fully deserved poll with an utterly demented lap, and fully deserved tha race win, especally after holding off Jenson late on.
Jenson had a damn fine race too - podium consistency is what makes a potential champion. He has a relatively small step to take to become a potential WDC contender. |

Got to be Trulli.
I think many of us have been waiting a long time to see him put together a weekend like this. Hats off to Michael though, he was throwing that car all over that track, and banging out some seriously fast laps. Would Trulli have wilted under the pressure, like we've seen before? Could of been the race of Michaels career, had he kept up that pace. |

I voted Trulli, he didn't put a foot wrong, and it is harder to lead than to chase, but nothing between Trulli and Button.

Top 3 drivers i'd rank in this race
1st)Trulli - on par with Button's efforts, but the win and mistake free race when others trip over themselves make him take the vote! 2nd)Button - again, with BAR, he showed he's the man for the team...great effort, pushing all the way and not "giving up" despite knowing how little the odds...good attitude 3rd)Michael - the crash diverted attention from an otherwise good performance. Stunning laps when clear of traffic, consecutive fastest laps with no errors, and beautiful to watch driftin the car around the tight corner..pure masterful. But poor start, bad traffic, dubious strategy spoiled any chance of victory. |

I'm impressed that folk on this forum give credit where it's due and don't just go for the patriotic vote.
It has to be Trulli for at last fulfilling the promise he has shown for so long, but all credit to Jenson for never giving up and I hope his day comes very soon. |
