Well, the first weekend in March has traditionally been the first weekend of the racing season.

Strange that the SUNBAC meeting was apparently cancelled due to lack of interest - its a bit early isn't it. I was definately going to race in Mono.

I was under the Hallucination that the cancellation of the SUNBAC meeting was nothing to do with lack of entries, but lack of clubs putting forward races to fill the event.

If it were me, I'd run the day as a heap of allcomers/open/handicap races, forget the championships.

They'd fill it up.

Might be. Subject to the cadwell date.

Those who know me, know that I am a bit of a Cadwell specialist, and given half a chance, I'll be there! The BRSCC EuroSaloons have their meeting at Cadwell when I'm on holiday, so can't do it.

I also enjoy the full Oulton Park experience, and detest the Fosters circuit!

I also miss the BARC SE / EERC Brands GP date the next week too! Darn it!

Serve me right for booking my holiday early!

Change to the Haggis Memorial Race (correct name) - now set for the 12th June due to date changes around the GP.
This will be the main 40th Anniversary event for Clubmans and hoping to get a number of cars over from Scandanavia and a whole bunch of early Clubmans drivers along as well, (even Max Mosley drove Clubmans in his early days !)
