Anyway, regardless of the result the second race today was some of the most exciting tI've seen in the V8's for quite some time, was great to see that the Volvo can genuinely hold it's own against the rest of the field. Also awesome to see both the Merc's and the Nissan's being a bit more racy than last season, definitely looks like it's a lot more even this year

Not so impressive to hear the booing on the podium - I get that the same person being on the podium/winning often is boring (a la Vettel) but it just seems like a lowlife thing to do..... now if he'd turfed Scotty in T11 he might have earnt it....

Did all of you watch the race either on Australian TV or V8 SuperView? Seems the only way for an international viewer like me to watch this season is to buy one of these packages since the local Fox Sports Plus TV deal is over:/

This is just giving me more reason to dump cable tv entirely. Motorsports fix with free/pay live streams and news with AJE.

Don't know about that, I'm guessing given the increased increase due to the likes of Nissan and Volvo, they may keep it for our international friends. It's going to be essentially the same content as the Foxtel Go stuff so it won't be to hard to do.

my understanding is foxtel have the digital rights, Not sure what they are going to do about OS though,

NowTV is horrendous anyway, never understood why anyone pays for it here!!i can confirm V8 Superview works well in HK and AU$40 is a bargain for the season. I'd happily pay 10 times that if I had to.

Is the quality nice? According to this FAQ page, the maxium quality is 1024x576 correct? or is it 720x400?

Less than HK$300 for a full season of V8's? Sold!
