Well with the addition of the second Solberg and Foust, the Supercar entry list is definately starting to looking better now (hopefully the S1600 and Touring Car classes will also fill up)... the question that still remains though is how much IMG have changed?

Keeping my fingers crossed for a good weekend!

Excuse the double post, but I missed this:

Assuming that I've got the correct GRC schedule, GRC in blue, ERC in red...

31 March/1 April - Lydden, UK
20 April - Foz do Iguaçu, Brazil (Global X-Games)
27/28 April - Montalegre, Portugal
17 May - Barcelona, Spain (Global X-Games)

25/26 May - Nyirad, Hungary
8/9 June - Kouvola, Finland
15/16 June - Hell, Norway
29 June - München, Germany (Global X-Games)

6/7 July - Holjes, Sweden
13 July - New Hampshire, USA
20 July - Bristol, USA
4 August - Los Angeles, USA (Summer X-Games)
11 August - Atlanta, USA

31 August/1 September - Loheac, France
14/15 September - Greinbach, Austria
21/22 September - Estering, Germany
22 September - Charlotte, USA
20 October - Cincinnati, USA

...the only clash i can see is on the 22 September between the Estering (ERC) and Charlotte (GRC) rounds? There would be a lot of jetting round required, but in theory in should be possible to have a pretty good crack at both Championships?

That looks like the latest GRC schedule but as we have learnt it is subject to change especially when away from SMI tracks!

I think Tanner has proved that he loves to fly! Between GRC, ERC, Ford commitments, Top Gear and his numerous film work trying to speak to him is like playing 'where is Waldo'.

I know he really appreciates the challenge of racing in Europe so am sure you will see him a lot.

Sort of a double post, as I just put this in the GRC thread, but ERC24 have just broken the story on Facebook that Ken Block will unveil his new, M-Sport built, GRC car in London tomorrow...

...makes me wonder if this is the car that he will be showing at Ace Cafe on Friday. Also makes me wonder what the chances are of the car making its competition debut at Lydden in a couple of weeks?

Thats what I thought, but I don't want to jump to any sudden conclusions...

...annoyingly I've already agreed to go out tomorrow night. If I hadn't I'd have popped at to Ace Cafe to have a nose at the car and try and learn more!

Noticed on the provisional entry list at the bottom of S1600 is a certain Kevin Eriksson eldest son of Andreas. In a Set Promotion Clio it will be very interesting to see how he goes.

He has been fast in everything else.........

Speaking of the provisional entry list, here's a link...

http://www.fia.com/news/rx-2013-roun...nal-entry-list

...20 Supercars, 8 Touring Cars and 13 S1600 by my count?

Only Supercars seems to have benefitted from the extended entry date.

S1600 and TC are one big drama...

It's a shame the numbers are so low for the S1600 and TouringCar. They should have keep the entry fees for that much lower. The quailty across those classes looks promising, but would have been nice to see quality backed up with quantity!! Hopefully they'll be 5 more in each category, which would make it comparable with last year at least (and with an extra heat, would give as much racing).

Fantastic supercar entry, is kevin proctor entering, didnt see him on the list.

Does anyone know what other classes might be racing, ie rx150s? Swifts? Retros?.

There's no Julian Godfrey on that list either and he was talking about competing in Motorsport News a couple of weeks back. No Kevin Proctor either Does anyone think any more drivers will be added to this entry list?

The retros are there, apparently to fill in any gaps in the timetable, so we should see lots of Rob Gibson etc over the weekend... At the moment i reckon on 9 heats 4 times plus finals, thats not alot of racing over 2 days.Lets hope reliability is good and all the cars are ready and no visa problems etc.

If you want to see Kevin Proctor racing then you will need to get yourself to a Challenge round in Europe though I had wondered if he might give Lydden ago and try and put one over some of the big budget teams.

The best thing about the entry is the mix of cars in the supercar catagory, it will be great to see the Saab out there again.

Im not surprised at the small entry in the other classes, lets face it IMG have had little interest in these since the start and are probably already thinking that with so few cars are other classes necessary? My answer is definately yes but Im a lover of the sport, not money.

I hope Procter gets added to the list as well: be great to see him try and chalk up his second Lydden win in a fortnight.

I see on Facebook Timur has got himself a new sponsor...

...things must be looking up if Red Bull are involved.

That does look really nice and it's great to have Red Bull onboard, such a massive company now in motorsport. Rallycross is even featured on their website - http://www.redbull.com/en/motorsport...ycross-dust-up.

Now just to get the numbers up for Lydden (and get Loeb in a DS3!!)

I expect Block will be added to this list.

The entry fees for S1600 and TC are the same as in previous years.
At first they were higher but IMG changed their mind in January or so.

Michael de Keersmaeker will not take part in Lydden.
Reason is injury after his crash in round 1 of the Belgian championship.

Bigger names.... Less cars....
I hoped that you get procter, koutny, kuypers, bermingrud, anderssen, pailler and jenssen on the list....
I miss skorupski... Tought also that enerberg would start in TC..
And because of the split you miss a lot of Benelux and Czech drivers in S1600

My opinion:
SC good Quality! But hoped for more drivers as in the past....
TC and S1600 --> not good...
But it is as expact... Because IMG goes SC..

Anyway go to Lydden and hope for some good racing and dry weather

Agree 100% big names less cars not what I want to see but hopefully the lesser names will bolster the Challenge
If the IMG Championship is going to go exclusively with super cars at a later stage this will benefit the European Ralllycross Challenge WIN WIN for the real series.
Oh and finally worked out who Paul1982 is I'm sure Baby Blue will be glad you are both at Lydden

In this week's Autosport there's a 13 page ERX season guide.

So finally they managed to get some attention in the motorsport media.
