I know im probably missing something here but how come GruppeM are not here this weekend? I havent heard anything about them ditching the LMES, could someone please enlighten me?

correct. their ex EMKA chassis was destroyed at Silverstone, and is a write-off.
Another team that has had a Porsche write-off this year has some very interesting plans for the future. |

you have to make the car stall on purpose, and if it doesnt stall, then it will be Dq'ed. a lot of cars fail the stall test here in America, but they are always allowed to start the race, but in the back.
however, the LMES seems pretty upset over the Zytek, and they may not let them start the race. |

The stall-test is a test performed on the airbox. In the airbox are the restrictors. Closing off the airbox shuts off the air-supply to the engine, wich should make the engine stall. However, if it doesn't stall, that means it's able to get it's air from a other place than the airbox opening and the restrictors in it. Meaning they might be cheating, as they bypass the restrictors. |
