It's on the ETCC website so must be true

Still, good to see Sharp back out there.

They're making alot of expections this year...

You must have competed 50% of a national championship. But if the country they come from doesen't have a TC they can enter anyway. For O'Brien I guess that clears him, but not Sharp. Or has he done any races in the UK?

There's no Scottish Touring Car Championship, so maybe he gets in that way

First I had written: Last year they were beaten by a "privateer".
But I wasn't sure about the support from BMW Sweden so I changed it.

With respect to WCR I see ROAL and Plato's team more as factory teams.

Another super production entry: Jani Horeliks from Latvia in JH Motorsport Honda Integra.

Janis placed 3rd in Baltic touring car championship this year behind Raimo Kulli and Juris Sprude

I'd safely guess one of the Seat Sport Spain cars...certainly less travel from the factory?

Too bad the champ can't get enough money to defend the title.

I am a bit dissapointed with this entrylist. Compared to last year there are less S2000 cars on the grid and total quality is lower.

The bit in Autosport about Seat UK not entering car's is them feeling they can't prepare well enough for it with the BTCC finale this weekend.

To me it wasn't clear if it meant Plato wasn't competing, as it said there would still be British run Leons (by GR Asia) for Sharp and O'Brien.

Alfa Fan has a lot of promise if they can keep it on the circuit!
The timing of the event is too early. Very late October/early November would have been much better.
