To be honest I wouldn't be surprised to see the RML cars beating the Honda's on a frequent basis, they're just that much beter than JAS.

Doubt that. Honda is a factory team after all. Chevy might be a better car in base specs but it's going to be difficult for ROAL, Campos and Munnich to keep up to the level of development

That is true, but it's mostly because of their budget.

Just reread the bit in Autosport from two weeks ago which it says there will be a revision to qualifying. I've obviously missed how they've changed it. Can someone tell me what it is?

I don't know if changes are to be expected.
I quote: "The qualifying session is split in three parts: Q1 for all the drivers, Q2 for the top 12 drivers classified in Q1, Q3 for the top 5 drivers qualified in Q2. Q3: points awarded to the first five drivers classified (5, 4, 3, 2, 1). The grid for Race 1 is based on the qualifying combined results of Q1, Q2 and Q3. On the grid for Race 2, positions from 11th downwards remain the same, while the first ten positions are reversed." http://www.fiawtcc.com/uploads/files...nners_2014.pdf During Q3,the five drivers will take to the track one by one and will do one perfect lap that will determine their position on the starting grid for Race 1. |

Why make it so difficult? Last years format was good.

it's reversed about what? the result of race 1? or yet the first 10 drivers on the grid of race 1 will be reversed in race 2? |

Actually, except Q3, nothing is changed. So I can't say it's more difficult to understand, the superpole was the only addition, and I really like it Meanwhile, according to Motorsport-Total, Yukinory Taniguchi is set to drive for Nika |

Me too...there will be no team works and slipstream hotlaps. Just a driver and a car. Because of this aero package the slipstream will be more noticable. I think this is a good decision.
Btw. Norbert Michelis is pretty concerned with Civic's performance after this tests in Valencia so as whole Honda team. 1,3 sec behind the citroen is too much he said. But he was even more disappointed when he saw the Cruze only a couple of tenths behind the Civic considering the fact that this was the very first test for the Cruze. They have a lot of work now. |

Borkovic's NIS petrol racing team will do the first test at Friday on SPA Francoshamps circuit. At Sunday and Monday Campos team with two TC1 and three TC2 cars will be on Paul Ricard circuit. Maybe they will reveal the other two drivers for TC2 class then.

Yeah, we will probably know the other drivers just before the tests. I have to say I'm surprised Campos has got resourses to make a collective test for 5 cars.
Judjing from the list we may officially say that Taniguchi is confirmed. That's probably why Nika may have an opportuninty to race a Chevy |

i think that campos racing will field 5 cars on the grid just because it has all payment drivers.
In a normal situation without payment drivers valente and borkovic wont even partecipate in TC2 class. |

in 2012 di sabatino had the best car because he drove the cruze and yet he had poor result. so this proove me that he is not a great driver.
this year i dont care about his result because in TC2 class he will fight against the grandfather engstler, the unknown taniguchi and the child filippi. |

But maybe he cannot adapt as fast as a professional driver should do. I still think, it is the best time to start with WTCC in TC2...the price money is very high, very less competitors, and no one will blame you, if you are not winning. Or at least you have good explanations for not winning :-) |
