Subaru_WRX_STi has a lot of promise if they can keep it on the circuit!
IMSA is coming, how about other GT2 teams from the Le Mans Series ?

Doubt it. Probably not even Virgo or Felbermayr.

They have always supported at least 1 team since 2006 in the 24 so hope we can see that back.
I think Jetalliance have got a 2006 car which has been updated to 2007 spec and are running with two new bits of aero that Aston Martin Racing used at this years Le Mans 24H.

lots of stuff from what I hear will be shown leading up to the race. The only reason the onboard was on was because they were testing it on the car. The last onboard on a Vette in the FIA GT was the C5R last year....never a C6R. They will have their own stream to watch not the GT1 live that always switches.....

The Planet Lemans 24 h Spa entry list has dropped Ayari and Hernandez from the SRT Drivers and added Maxime Soulet with another "TBA". Also, the second Phoenix entry has changed the little flag of the TBA Driver from a German to a Danish Flag. Could this mean the mystery fourth driver is Jan Magnussen? Also, with some P&M support for the race, could the last SRT driver also be a Corvette factory driver? It seems all the fans will be at fever pitch before the race even starts.

well in my opinion if you were going to put one of the factory drivers in that fourth seat it would have to be Jan. he was by far the fastest driver for the factory at le mans. But i'd also like to see another american over there in Johnny O.

Yes they did have on-boards in the C6-R last year in the LAA car at Spa.

Yes, they did...sorry I was referring to actual FIA GT regular cars. LAA brought their own system and hooked it up. They last had it on a Carsport car in 2005 as it was for Eurosport.

That photo above is from an on-board on the #6 Phoenix Racing C6-R from this weekends FIA GT race as far as I am aware.

I thought JWA weren't racing at Spa, so why is the V8 Vantage GT2 there?

http://www.endurance-info.com/2008_F...stDay/Spa1.jpg

Or are Aston Martin Racing just using the Spa Test Day as a good time to 'race' the car?

Well I can't find JWA on Planet Le Mans entry list, and if they were to race it, I think it would be raced by JWA with the help of AMR/Prodrive so that JWA can get more experience with the Aston, seen as they have only used it to some degree under race conditions, even though it never raced.

This was the JWA car at Barcelona. Back then several people already noticed it looked like the Gigawave livery.

At Le Mans this car was in the Aston Martin Racing/Prodrive hospitality and look what car is now parked next to it at Spa...right, the Gigawave Aston Martin DBR9.

JWA confirmed it would not do Spa with the Porsche as they announced last year...but also said "Please be patient for news about the Aston Martin Vantage - you should expect the unexpected."

I am both intrigued and happy to see the DKR C6R testing. My friend was informed by someone close to the team and said it wasn't in their budget....hopefully we will see them racing there to add another C6R to the roster.
