Never count out a Ferrari, but I was never as convinced during winter testing that Ferrari were as much ahead of McLaren as was suggested. It's early days yet, but I might just be right.

Nope, it's the truth. You Aussie's support him to no end, yet, he's not a good driver, and wont ever win a race. It's sad, but true. Also true that the V8 support races put on better racing than Sunday's race probably will.

Ding-dong! What a qualifying session!

It was nice to see those rumours about BMW s********** throughout winter testing seem to be true - without that mistake Kubica could have very nearly been on pole. It's pretty clear they are part of a leading pack now - 1.3 seconds clear of the next non "big 3" car (a Toyota!!?!?).

Very, very impressive stuff from Vettel too. He's going to have a pretty good career in front of him at this rate

Ahh...already my predictions competition entry is looking like a crock of nonsense

Regardless if Webber wins a race, the mere fact that he has been a mainstay on the Formula 1 grid for the last seven seasons speaks for his talents in itself.

So if a driver isnt winning races then people have no right to support them?

I have a feeling that this is the season that Robert Kubica breaks through and really shines. Ferrari are having an atrocious weekend. Car doesn't look honed in. Mclaren look set for a strong season.

I think you're right about Kubica, he could finally have more than the measure of Quick Nick.

And yeah, Renault...I can't believe Piquet is in a Super Aguri Sandwich

Solid start by Heikki that has been overshadowed a little bit by the performance of the BMW's. I'm guessing that he'll be pleased with this start to the season compared to last years.
