This Thread seems very quiet at the moment, is anything going on and what is the Field looking like for Next Weekend. Will we see the usual "Once a year Racers" turn up with there 3rd Hand Brake Pads and Worn out tyres from 4 Seasons ago? I seem to remember last year the Field wasn't bad, just spread out over about 15 sec in lap times.
I guess I will see when I head along next Weekend.

Is the Lauder Camry back in Action or has it been binned?

Pukekohe

The Nissan TLX is supposed to be on display (if it is completed enough).

The Lauder Camry is basically new from the firewall forward.

While Nick Ross is TLX champion... amazing!

I bet nobody in his camp thought the Bargwanna effort would collapse as badly as it did... losing an engine, then swapping cars and losing that engine too... I guess you couldnt really count on that happening for you...

Puts the #1 on the side of the new Altima next year, presuming the TLX class runs again

there won't be a TLX class next season. all the V8s will come together in one big happy class. there will be hugs, handshakes and high fives all around. egos will be put to one side. the crowds will be huge. not only the races will be televised live.. but also qualifying.numbers for the support classes will also be high. everyone will one big happy family.

If you added all the V8's up it would have been a decent grid, for sure.

The race I saw had only one Camry, one Commode and the chrome Falcon (a long way off the pace), did any of the other TLX's show up for the weekend?

Had to laugh after Bargs first race drama, with changing cars and he moved all the way from the first to the second row. I still can't work out why they start them with a gap between the Different classes. There must be a really good reason!

Hopefully the TLX Class will roll over and die, its like watching a slow moving Funeral procession at the moment.
The Word I was hearing over the Weekend is the Toyota's might pull the plug, and I guess after the Weekends round.

I am pretty sure the STs will be out next year, The 5 TLXs cars, can you really see that as a Championship that anybody would turn up and Watch. If or when the two Toyotas fail to Turn up it will be finished. They would be Much better to Hot them up and Run with those GTs that were running at Puke.

The ST races were about the same... Just a longer procession.

And if I believed all the 'words' I heard over the weekend, then things would be very different on both sides (of the grandstand).

I don't know which races you were watching but you obviously only watched for a very Short time...

The ST races I saw had lots of action and were plenty entertaining. I was just disappointed that in the only NZV8 race I saw (Sunday afternoon) there were only 3 TLX's running that I could see, certainly the cameras never bothered with the others if they were out there as the only action was between Bargs and Ross - which was pretty good racing but you need more than 2 cars going at it.

They did for other races, and one of them was hilarious (or embarrassing), depending on your perspective.

Nice to see Murphy step aside and let his mate win the last race.Tried to make it look like a tussle but quite obvious.
