Does anyone know what the weather is for the wend, sun for TT & Race or rain for TT & Race?.

earlier in the week they were predicting a shower between noon and 6

Seems HRT are in a little bit of trouble running a trick throttle to save fuel with the trick being banned at Bathurst.

Definitely not in any trouble and I dunno how you think a throttle stop is a "trick throttle". My lawn mower has one. But they won't be running it at Bathurst.

Team takes a physical approach with almost no cost to saving fuel and its banned, meh.

I saw the car on Ch7 news turning some laps, I don't know who was driving but if it was one of the ladies she was driving quite hard indeed.

I'm guessing it had to be from the test day? Paul Morris was very complimentary of how quickly Simona adapted to the car.

Got to say I am loving the wildcard liveries and the new Erebus cars, although I have not seen the Wendys car. Did Paul Morris just say he was happy the girls are 4 seconds off the pace?

The girls seem to have a plan. The car should be capable of a '6' if the pilots are up to it..

The car would be, although I suspect they've set the car up to make it a bit more forgiving at the cost of ultimate lap speed.

Seems like they're taking a sensible approach - work up to pace steadily rather than trying to crack out killer times first off and overstep the mark.

Of course, where their ultimate pace sits remains to be seen, they're up against some strong opposition.

Shame that with the new in car camera setups we have lost a great little website http://www.bathurstscan.com ability to get the teams radio feeds, still can get the race control.

People on Facebook actually believe it will be ad free on FOX Sports is hilarious to say the least. They expect the Bathurst 1000 to be ad free on FOX. Which isn't and I believe when Ten goes to an ad so does FOX during the 'Great Race'

This is the big one.

And we get to see cool stuff like the top 10 shootout. (Better known as 'Hardie's Heroes' back in the day..) where we will see one man or woman out on the track by themselves, brand new rubber, taking risks with their race car to be the fastest on that Saturday session.

great intro. Agreed that it's the best racing in the world. Better then F1 this year that's for sure. Hope this one is as exciting as last years Bathurst. The win last year and and the one before trumps all others when it comes to Bathurst 1000 finishes.

Last years finish was close but the race in total was a complete farce !
Hopefully this year we don't see a repeat of the ridiculous calls from Race Control (e.g. stopping the race & letting teams work on the cars)
