So Mr Courtney is running #25, is Mr Pye running #2 or possibly related to the number 25? (such as #26 or #52)

How many years since the cars being raced have not been available to buy, or are a car which nobody wants to buy?

I would place it just before the GTR became available locally (in very limited numbers), so perhaps early 1991.

Not sure I have ever seen any car racing on Australian racetracks appear with full roll cage, competition suspension and brakes, and reworked racing engine.. in a dealer showroom in that state of preparation, for sale...

Well I don't think it should be allowed extra intakes and vents --- it should make do with the same ZB aero package that the V8 ZBs run IMO. Furthermore, "While the engine will have to conform to the same total horsepower cap as the V8s — the cumulative horsepower output measured at 50rpm increments between 5800rpm and 7450rpm " This seems wildly inadequate as unlike a naturally aspirated V8, a twin turbo six could easily be tuned to deliver bulk horsepower between 3000rpm and 5800rpm. Surely it will have to have to have it's power restricted based on the *whole* rev range not just 5800 to 7450rpm. I would propose limited the amount the drive-by-wire throttle is allowed to open at any given rpm (i.e., max. throttle opening of say 40% at 3000rpm through to 100% at about 7000rpm, to undo the low to mid rpm torque peak you get from having a turbocharger(s)), so that the maximum available power output of the twin-turbo corresponds closely to that of a V8. The roadgoing Cadillac ATS-V V6TT delivers peak torque at 3800rpm, if the Supercars TTV6 was only restricted above 5800rpm, it may a huge advantage over the competition below 5800rpm due to the nature of a turbo engine. Cadillac ATS-V road car dyno plot: I suppose the rpm at which peak power of a Supercars pushrod engine is top-secret, it would be interesting to know if peak power arrives just before redline or some 1000 or 1500rpm below. I.e., is power climbing from 6000 to 7500rpm, or does power flatten out there to get the best blend of cumulative power within the regulation of cumulative power? It's funny to look back on the chatter from the last few days, where people supposedly in the know, were insisting Mr Reindler still had his drive. Sme went on to say that Mr Reindler insisted he stil had the gig
Congratulations to Mr Brabham all the same. He'll be a fine addition to the grid later in the season. |

If anything shouldn't the V8 be running with the 6 aero in that case? |

Why not 2 x Penrite racers? Shame that GB Galvanizing and Advam are not returning -- attached to Mr Wood, or their support was going to cease anyway regardless of driver choice?
Now 2 things: 1) Not sold on the Ryco on the grille, that looks terrible. 2) Why do Erebus run so many Erebus and Erebusmotorsport.com etc decals when presumably they don't get paid *anything* for running these? Quote:
So why Holden are bothering? Who knows. |

However V8s are not allowed to have non-standard bonnet vents for improved cooling (the Falcon and Altma certainly don't), so why should the 6 be allowed to have bonnet vents!? |
