Finished 11th after being driven off the circuit at the fastest corner by a ******. The same ****** that threatened to drive David Marshall off the track the round before.
I have it on the in car camera - Is it possible to post a streamed video on here? I have it as an mpeg but can convert it? |

It was partly my fault as I shouldn't have made a mistake at Cascades which allowed driver in question and David Marshall to catch up down Lakeside. I sat in the middle of the circuit and driver in question tried to take the bend a racing speed while hugging the inside line (side near the lake). There were only 2 results to his move
1) We both go off by me holding the line and both get hurt or 2) I give him room and we both continue with me losing a place as long as he plays fair. But the camera doesn't lie..... |

I'm not sure if this kind of "the other unnamed driver *******" stuff should be aired here on a public forum.
Diz [with his serious head on for once] Mods, I'll leave it to upto you |

go on then, do as the nice man suggests and keep it to yourselves.
on the other hand, you wouldn't want the person in question to know he's going to wake up with a horses head in his bed now would you? |

It was a racing incident Diz but could have been avoided. I have not mentioned the drivers name as I don't need to. I will email the footage to anyone who is interested but no more posting about it on here. If I was that bothered about it I would have protested him but not that bothered. I just think back to what he said to David and my past history.... but on the other hand he was never going to make the corner coming from that side of the circuit but what could I do when I was already committed to the corner....

No it is clear enough Jase just not broadcast quality. I am not sure if the camera is vibrating on the chassis or the lens is? Need to look in to that. On a more positive note I have good footage of Steve St Clair's overtake on Hutch at lodge which was a nice move with 2 clean and well repsect drivers. |

It seems to have been discussed already but I think we should keep specific names out of this thread. Thanks in advance for your kind co-operation.

JD I'm good as gold not a problem here, appriciate the thought.
Wasn't a bad weekend, it was a tough weekend no question of it but excellent fun, would have been nice to have a couple more laps, and perhaps a few more laps, and perhaps a few clear laps to try to find my feet. I'd come back for another crack at it though. I think fate balanced itself out quite nicley. |
