pgrogan should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
Lads I have it on good authority that the europeans will not run on a Monday so the date may well change again to possibly sat/sun. I am awaiting confirmation of the dates from event CoC Robert Moody

I think all involved in organising and running the day put on a very well organised stress free day. Well done Lydden people.

Best race was the modified final and best drive was Stu in the 306 drove well and timed the joker spot on for 2nd behing Julian.
I also thought Ray Morgan was excellent, definately wasn't as quick as the KA, but used all his experience to hold him off, although not quite quick enough to challenge Stuart in his Pug. Well done Stuart

Stuart have you made any changes over the winter, as you've now laid down a marker for the others to beat.

There's a Honda Civic in the class, although driven by a woman
Any news on Ash Simpson for 2009 ?

Apart from fixing all the panel damage from last year . No the car will be exactly the same for this year (except for my nice new set of Revolution Wheels) . Not sure how much I will be able to do this year yet though.

I think this year the PROCAR2000 class will be very competitive. No doubt Shelley will be on the pace straight away and there are a few other new cars that should also be quick.
I think Ash is building an Elise for this year in Super National, although I wouldn't be at all surprised to see him in the Megane again.

Koen Pauwels will be back and Jos Kuypers will probably debut his new IGMAB/Jernberg Focus at Lydden Hill.
http://www.joskuypers.eu/fotoboek/bo...?crnt=4&type=1
(Does anyone know if he will use his old power train or change to the Sellholm/Trollspeed gears?) Jos Sterkens new rwd Focus D2 will also debut at Lydden in the February meet if all goes to plan.

Also Michael De Keersmaecker is going to test his BMW at the winter series, and maybe also Jan Van Broekhoven (multiple Belgian Champion) will debut his Volvo S40 in lydden hill...

As promised, can confirm dates for Lydden are Easter Sunday and Monday. 12th and 13th May. Currently at the FIA Off Road Organisers and Technical Officials Seminar which is compulsory to run an event and the support and enthusiasm for Lydden is quite outstanding.
