Well, Tenterden Curve (10), is not full throttle... Not at that speed anyway... But alright, you _could_ put a chicane after "The Hump" (9)...

I changed a couple of things to your track, TR.

Well, I would, too... but this was just a quick sketch.

In a way that kind of reminds me of Sebring....

I've had another go at Silverstone. A larger part of the track remains as it is, but is simply updated regarding run-off and so on.

Now for my changes:
I incorporated the proposed new pits and paddock along Hangar Straight -- or should we call it Horan Straight from now on? I tightend Stowe to make it a 'proper' first corner with overtaking possibilities. I restored the original fast left-hander Abbey. I tightened Priory as well to make it a better overtaking spot -- still difficult, but possible.

The rest of the Grand Prix circuit remains intact. I did make some changes to the two club racing tracks as you may see. Furthermore I added some high-grip tarmac and gravel beds to the Maggots-Beckets-Chapel corners.

Hope you like it. Tell me what you think.

It's good but I prefer the current layout.

I like it. I'd tighten a couple of corners to create more overtaking possibilities though. Now the hairpin and the chicane are overtaking spots. I don't like that chicane, by the way... it's to abrupt in that rather nicely flowing part.

Here's a completely new design. The track is located in the south of the Netherlands, near Tilburg, just a couple of kms way from the Belgian border. It's situated in between two highways for easy access. I'm quite happy with the design. It's not too much of a classic, but not really a Tilke either. Tell me what you think.

Hmm. Good point. That was the part of the track that I wasn't too happy with. However, I think the effect the the esses is practically gone, now -- the track is already the equivalent of 20 m wide.

I haven't got a copy of the original file here at home -- any changes will have to come on Monday.

BTW: I wonder where everybody is. I know Pirenzo is on holiday, but the rest?

I've made a quick copy and used your changes in a blue version of the track. I like it very much.

Hey, etracks put up a couple of new DIY-tracks. There's one of my designs again: Circuit Jonkheer Gijs van Lennep.

Here's another one of my tracks...

You may not like the chicane at T1... but I think its necessary. Think of it as a slow ess

edit: oops... pic bad. see next post.
