The most bizarre thing of all is this is the least amount of attrition since 1923, and it's the year we see 67% losses in LMP1.

I just rewatched it going through the gravel - it took a big leap out of there, so it could easily have been that which caused the ultimate failure. The nudge with the Aston was actually more towards the back of the car.
