Let's hope so. But as I said elsewhere, its Japan next and we know Honda can pull the stops out for that race.

Sorry guys, but I thought that was a terrible performance.
Being unable to nail a Jag in a Renault? I have no doubt the excuses will get rolled out at 100 miles an hour, but maybe I expect better from a former WDC. |

I wouldn't call it terrible Wrex.
I think he kept the car on the track, at least. Less than 2 weeks worth of knowledge of the car isn't a lot to achieve his and the cars maxmimum potential. Also a year of no racing is going to affect him a liitle It wasn't great, I admit, but he finished with all four wheels intact. Benefit of the doubt I think, but I'm hoping for a bit better performance at Suzuka. As ,I'm sure, are JV and Renault! |

And he was the highest placed of the world champions at the end of the race!
As pointless as that accolade is! |

Indeed Knowlesey - Wrex hardly terrible - a bit of the learning curve to climb still granted.
And after all Shuey had a fair mare of a race/weekend as well. Or is it convenient to dismiss that as a blip? |

Yes he finished, well done. But was'nt his sole purpose of employment to get points, preferably more than BAR?
Failing to get points is pretty poor (in a car aiming to be 2nd in the constuctors), especially with Sato grabbing a bag full from last. But to not even get past a Jag, I'm sorry its woefull. If anyone thinks that was a good performance, obviously thinks less of his talents than I do. He is better than that, and I would like to see it sooner rather than later. |

And one more thing, 'learning curve'?
WTH is that????????? He is a WDC for crying out loud. This forum (including myself) did'nt give Gene and Pizzonia this much credit for their performances, and they dont have JV's experience. |

Of course Jacques was driving the second Renault, which Jarno Trulli told us "doesn't feel right"....

Anybody that has done a couple days testing in a relatively unknown car (and I believe that the Renault is inherently unstable) and be "straight on it" must be a genius. And I believe there is no such person who is a genius.
JV is a WDC, 7 years ago, but he is also human, give the man a break. Aren't we encouraged to give postive, constructive comments on this forum?! |

How long should that break be? |
