Live For Speed

How many people on Ten Tenths play this? Seems as anybody who wants to play could download the demo and drive straight away - unlike F1C or GPL - it could be good for a few friendly races or something.

i love it, but i am chronically slower by 2 seconds than a lot of folks, of course thee are the WR holders....
i expect when S2 comes out, everyone will drive better as i have been setting up my car as if there was independent tyre movement adn such, it turns out only pressure on that tyre really changes as far as loads go, now the tyre will lean and change alignment through the suspension movment i understand, so my real world set up might actually work ...well if i drive more than 2 hours aweek...
excuses aside, it is one of the most stable fun and spectacular driving (playing-racing) Sims ever, the graphics while not super detailed are solid and what a fun sim, nothing like getting the Apexi and trackouts just right...
S2 where are you!?!!?!!???

S1 is great for online racing but I never use the RWD cars as they just don't handle right. Can't wait for S2 to correct all of that and add those V8 single seaters aswell, oh and the damage might be fun to

They are fixing the rear suspension feel too make the powerfull cars less ****, basicly.
But you still get some fools that ruin a good race. But it is fun coming up on a lapped car and honking the horn and seeing them dive out of the way

We should get a league going!

www.liveforspeed.net you can download the game but you need to register and pay £12 to unlock the whole thing, or you can pay £24 to get a license for LFS S1 and S2 which will be released soon...if that didnt make sense then the site will

@Hazza - Sure, im all for a league when i get broadband

I've downloaded the demo and it is quite good. ABit tricky with the keyboard but nonetheless not too bad.

I'd be up for a league as well.

RSC should be back within this week. Have a look at http://www.rscnet.org for more info.

Also, for the time being, you could try the temporary (unofficial) RSC boards at: http://rsc.vadertrophy.com/forums/ - they have an LFS section.

Just a quick question, for all thoose interested, where are you located and what connection do you have?

Just insofar as if we do get going where what server we should use so to have as little ping as possible. Oh and can you post your Timezone aswell?

In the UK on 1mbit ADSL, it's not great for hosting games though as the upload rate is pretty poor.
