If there was a deserving LMP1 left on the list I would agree, but there isn't!

I wonder if it is too far off the pace at the test day that the ACO will have a quiet word in Henri's ear, likewise the DeltaWing. Oh I forgot, Henri is French....

Not running the car at this point would probably ruin Henri (again). He has some sponsors and they expect him to race at LM. If he doesn't, all the money he's sunk in the new car has been for nothing.

(Apologies if it has been mentioned already) DailySportscar say that Roald Goethe has funded the '03' as part of his Gulf liveried collection of historic cars.

Perhaps we'll be seeing the famous blue and orange colours along with the traditional Pesca Green.

I'd consider it a success if the livery looks better than on this... the car itself is in the same league already, looks-wise

Interesting stuff regarding Goethe and drivers. Maybe we will see this in a Gulf livery as Stuart Hall comes in (from Goethe's team) to run in the car on test day. Will he be bumped up into a race seat?

the owner of the tub is a gulf-addicted racing car collector, now one of his drivers will run in the test... is more than a clue that takes to gulf direction. In my opinion is not the livery to make the car...

yep, the second (Kolles) Lotus entry, hope it will be on the grid so we might have a third Dutch driver on the Grid in Renger van der Zande.
Can't remember the last time we had so few Dutch drivers at Le Mans.

Which of the existing drivers is getting the boot from the 03? (Or have I misread and Stuart Hall ("...and Here Come the Belgians!") is just in for Test Day?)

I saw an article, don't remember where, about Goethe's Gulf liveried collection, and it struck me that might be a way this was going. Gulf livery would look horrendous with the usual patchwork quilt of Pesca sponsors and colors, so there is perhaps again a situation where two personalities involved in the 03 have a total lack of understanding about the other's involvement and commitment. if this car makes it to LeMans I wonder if these two personalities have a different idea about where it goes after the race-one thinking it goes back to the shop for ongoing development and preparation for the next race, and the other thinking it is going to be cleaned up and displayed in private collection.

Given all of the major misunderstandings that seem to haunt this team.....

The car's nothing if not distinctive.

Gulf livery looking unlikely, do we think? It could be that Gothe's motivation is not seeing Pescarolo fail. As an enthusiast, it's perfectly resonable to suggest that enthusiasm extends beyong Gulf-liveried things and to Le Mans itself, and Pescarolo is a bi-word for La Sarthe.

Finally an opinion I can share! So what if it's not a looker like the Dome, who cares... It's Henri we're talking about, and we should applaud them for undertaking this project...
