VSCC John Harris Trial 2016

The Vintage Sports Car Club (VSCC) held its annual Derbyshire Trial - the John Harris Trial - earlier this month. This year some of the 'hills' were in a new area - Carlton Lees near to Chatsworth House. That was instead of the old Butts Quarry (apparently used for many years) and the change seemed to go down well, proving more of a challenge than before.

Tremendous pictures Gary, excellent images of the action, especially the two young ladies with the rear wheel spinning!

Mind you they made me glad I was not there.

How long did it take you to clean the camera after?

Thanks Bob. I had to clean it a few times during the day - I'm glad I use protective filters on the lenses!

It was the picture of the yellow car showering mud from the rear wheels that begged the question, my immediate thought was for your camera.

What dedication to one's art.

Now I admit I am not a proper photographer, but I do use filters for various light conditions but I have never seen one for use against 'mud'. Am I missing something?
