European Touring Car Cup 2005

It is proposed that the European Touring Car Cup 2005 will be held at the Vallelunga Circuit on Sunday October 16th 2005.

It is proposed that there will be one title for the Super Production class (one race), and a title for the Super 2000 class (two races).

The proposed format on the Saturday is that there will be the final rounds of the various National Touring Car Championships of Italy, Russia, the Baltic States, and Germany.
Sunday will have the qualifying practice and races for the European Touring Car Cup.

Today the Dutch National Newspaper "De Telegraaf" published an article about Carly Pellinkhof, the team principal of the European Independents Championship winning team "Carly Motors", now being a feminine figure instead of the well known masculine figure. After winning the 2005 independents trophy Carly is now realy happy that she can live finally in her "right" body as a woman. She will now work more on the software and engine design instead of working in the workshop. She's also nominated for "the best racing team" at the Race & Rally"show this weekend in Den Bosch, Holland. The "look" of Carly may have been changed but the skills and knowledge still remain the same !
