British GT Donington camping
Hi folks,
I'm sorry if you've answered this a million times since the new "Electric" buildings went up on the old Marshals campsite area/slope but I haven't had to camp over for a while now. I have used the search facility but could not find a conclusive answer really. I am due to marshal both days at the GT weekend next week and would like to know if we can and where, pitch a tent from Friday night at the circuit. I have checked out the Farmhouse site next door but it isn't viable even if I turn up and pitch on Saturday night at whatever time we finish. (Cost/time) Thanks for any help. Elliot. |

Elliott - camping is in the 'wooded area' at the far left of paddock 3, on the outside of Redgate. As you come through the paddock entrance (where the Formula E buildings are), head towards the crossing gate at Redgate. You'll see the trees on your left, that's marshal camping. Tents get the grass, everyone else uses the hardcore areas. Showers, toilets and water points are close by, there's no hookups.

Thank you very much, that's spot on.
I'll get over on the Friday evening now. Cheers, Elliot. |
