50th Anniversary of Jim Clark's Lotus Indy win. win

On Sunday 31st May a plaque celebrating the 50th Anniversary of Jim Clark’s victory at the Indianapolis 500 was unveiled the former Team Lotus premises in Delamare Road, Cheshunt, Hertfordshire. The ceremony was performed by Hazel Chapman with son Clive, accompanied by ex-employees of Team Lotus. Organised by the Historic Lotus register and the 750 Motor Club, many of whom brought along rare and famous Lotus cars it was an event to brighten an overcast Sunday. Currently used by Monster Gym, the owners Steve and Angie Collins were gracious and accommodating hosts to a very different group of people to their regular clientele.
