Looks good! Autosport has a picture with Jackson's name on so I guess we can confirm him!

I notice that Autosport say that a second driver will be announced shortly, yet they've uploaded a pic with 2 Fords, one with Chilton's name on it and the other with Mat Jackson's.

Obviously wouldn't be a surprise, but inadvertently jumping the gun there?

The press release shots look really, really good. Hope they are able to confirm Mat Jackson too - him and Chilton in a new car could be a good duo.

Tct say the last RS in the BTCC was Dennis Leach's Sierra in 92, it was actually Bob Berridges Sapphire in 93.

Press release and Bartrums launch presentation both mentioned that they are brand new shells with lots of work done mechanically. He also says there are only two cars and just one more driver to announce.

So looks like only two from motorbase this year. Maybe people can only handle two shredded wheats and not three after all.

Makes sense to concentrate on the two strong drivers and not have your attention taken away by a third driver crashing often.

Good to see Ash back, would have been a big shame if he wasn't. And the new Ford RS looks good, hopefully Jackson will be in the 2nd seat, looks like it will. Hopefully with an updated car they can have a better season than last and both Sonic and MJ will be up there more often

On their Twitter they posted a photo of their workshop - two complete cars and one incomplete shell in the background... (on mobile so can't paste here)

Please don't get my hopes up for a Welch Motorsport return...!

More than just a facelift. Great news!

Secondly, where is that Welch TBL headed and what about the old shells?

I just hope that the second driver is Matt Jackson. Martin Depper didn't set the world alight last season, but I see the cars still carry e-spares branding...
