Because the good of the fans doesn’t pay the bills.

Business first, entertainment second.

Sport somewhere thereafter.

International races kept a few teams heads above water. Going to NZ pays stuff all in the scheme of things, I'm told. Only going there due to the demand. Supercars had to make up the shortfall in some areas. Sitting out a few years would be a godsend to them.

One someone is ready to bankroll the NZ race wholly and solely, you can guarantee they'll run two events to amortise the outlay.

Back to back weekend in NZ, make it the Tasman Cup round.

The Israel round is probably on hold at the moment.

QR is a boring shithole. Winton is OK but Sandown is better.

You think racing is free? How is watching an awesome spectacle from an overseas circuit "not for the good of the fans"

You're absolutely clueless.

I'd take the facilities at QR over those at Winton.

Yeah but the whole point is it's meant to be a track that is interesting to watch cars go around...

QR is like a licence test from Gran Turismo.

TC said he’ll never say never. We could have him back to organise some more overseas events. How about Las Vegas next month

He knows what's needed to right the ship.

I don't blame him for not wanting to be involved anymore.

Phillip Island is a world class track, how glorious does it look!

Not racing there (in warm weather) is madness.

Go ask the Fox family why they have priced it out of any chance of racing there?

They won't pay a sanctioning fee or promote either.
