Congrats to American racer Patrick Long for his win at Snetterton in the Winter Series of the British Formula Ford Championship. It is good to a see an American get a chance to show some talent and then go ahead and do the job as well. Rightfully so, European racing team owners take a pass on most young American drivers because our feeder series do not prepare a racer for the rigors of the much tougher racing arenas throughout Europe. It is very good to see a young rising star do well in a historically difficult championship.

heard that many times concerning young australian drivers - lucky we have got mark webber and james courtney at the moment  , anyway congrats to patrick
