Only one of them? Blaton had two very similar cars at one stage.

Do you remember what year these pictures were taken?

driftwood has a lot of promise if they can keep it on the circuit!
Blaton had 2 T286 cars
1 was real Huntingdon built period car Hu6 -7 or 8 i believe
other was a copy of the real McCoy so he could race that and keep the real deal in the collection
both cars anr now sold earlier posting from PHDM show fotos of them and auction data

I will also add i know of another "lola" DFV car built out of period
I have seen it an dteh unusual numbered plate !!
may well be 1 or 2 more from switzerland!

Hello,

I am currently trying to track down the complete history of T290-HU1. The car should have been modified in period to race with a DFV-engine. It is believed that this specific car was a sort of pre-production car or prototype to the later T280 which later raced in the Interseries. Unfortunately we were not able to find out more about the car, any additional information, period photos or similar would be highly appreciated.

Lola T280 HU1 at Paul Ricard

After 2 years of hard work, the car, purchased from Mr. Shallett, was back on the track last week for the 40th anniversary of the Paul Ricard racetrack

Great videos. Brought back memories of the season I spent racing HU4 for Minilite in 1974 in the Tricentrol Sports GT Championship.
