Speedy norm should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid

I have dipped in and out of this sport of ours over the years and I remember the above character back in the seventies.
What has become of him and are there any tails to tell I remember he backed Damian Mcgee in F5000 amongst others.

Wasn't he a colourful north London motor trader, well known to many who moved in motor racing circles in the 1970s ?
