Cool to see him back, but I'm not expecting too much to be honest. While the likes of Muller and Tarquini have remained on top Giovanardi hasn't really shown it the last couple of years. His last big(gish) succes was the ETCC win in the Hartmann Honda in 2011. After that he had quite the mediocre season in BTCC and it has been pretty silent since then. He might have more to lose than to win, but I hope he proves me wrong. Borkovic has shown that the Alfa has the speed for a surprise or two, so the material shouldn't be the problem this time.

Alfa should add one more Alfa for N.Larini. WTCR looks like lets see how retirement drivers can drive.

WTCR is turning a nursing home. With all respect to Gio indeed.

With 3 sears available, fingers crossed for the return of Roberto Ravaglia or Hans Stuck.

So, should we expect a Geely TCR now?

I was really hoping for Morbidelli to make it into the Alfa...

And for Romeo Ferraris to fix the shape of the wheel wells.

Morbidelli was in good relatinship also with all ink motorsport of Munnich. I think if he is not on the grid is just because of too high budget required.

I haven't yet lost the hope to see him atleast in tcr europe.

Probably not, as Geely isn't available worldwide yet (if its even available outside of China?). My money would be on the new S/V40.

In Eastern Europe they are definitely present, however doubt about Western/Eastern Europe

Polestar/Geely are more likely to be investing in E-TCR, as Polestar are electric only!

"Geely Group Motorsport" - Polestar may be electric/electrified only, but Volvo, Geely, Proton and Lotus are not.

Yes, and as far as I know there is a very good chance that it is Zengő Motorsport, with at least one, but possibly two Hungarian drivers.

Pastor Maldonado's #new #challenge is the WEC. Dragon Speed Racing, LMP2.

So if Campos enter a third SEAT that will drive by somebody else.

Nagy Norbi? I would be also happy with KPT. I know, he doing rally-cross, but I think he would love touring car too.

Team WRT unveiled their livery with Leopard and Lukoil backing. I have to say it's the best looking WTCR car so far.

Ineresting detail: last year it read “audi customer racing“ in small letters on the side of the comtoyou cars. Now its “AUDI SPORT“ in huge letters on the wind screen and also in smaller letters to the side.

Feels like Audi is serious about exposure in the champioship.

And theoretically there are no factory teams in WTCR I reckon WRT will be the team to beat. Probably alongside BRC.

Dont forget Ivan Muller racing. I think they might be the works volvo team in disguise. Muller developed the Tc1 Volvo, Thed Bjork became WC in the Volvo, and while Geely is developing the Tcr Volvo they are learning everythink there is to know about the Hyundai, one of the very best tcr cars....

Nice and colourful. A pleasure to see in a world of increasing corporate blandness.

Awesome livery for WRT. Definitely the best so far.
The team's official name is too long I think, and btw, I thought manufacturer names are prohibited in WTCR?

Well, it's easy to create a decent livery ;-)
Liveries revealed so far aren't so impressive (but in my opinion Coronel's, Panis' and Dupont's are nice to watch).
Anyway, I like WRT livery despite I don't find the light blue and red combination so pleasant.
