Good Run for Taurus Lola at Monza -- what's next?

A podium finish for the Taurus Lola was welcome news on Sunday...

and from race descriptions on one of the links posted on that thread, their battle with Ascari was a great one...too bad a backmarker influenced the outcome by giving Ascari the break they needed to get past them...

This seems to confirm what many of us have been saying for a while...Taurus is competitive and it is a shame they missed out on an invite last month..

To "Batcave":

Hope you're surfing this site still...Fulvio shared his thoughts with us about Sundya...we'd love to hear from you about your team's day from your perspective, and your thoughts about the car during your stints...

Thanks!

Since the ACO seemed to be into "gimmicks" and other options as part of their final selections, maybe taurus can paint the Lola like the Batmobile, and run their exhaust out the back the way the Zonda does so it'll really look like the Batmobile...

Of course, "Batcave" and his fellow drivers will have to wear the capes and tights when they race...and the crew can dress up like Robin...

But that would demean them, when they would have been a serious team at Le Mans this year...they deserve better...like an invite next year...

Now back to being serious...

If "batcave" doesn't check in, I guess we can keep an eye on entry lists for Oschersleben and Sears Point, although I would bet on the former as opposed to the latter....
