Hopefully Matt will be back to Porsche SuperCup next year or something else in Europe. He goes well in those cars, very well so why come back here then when hes closing on a Porsche factory gig

At the racing circuit? When their factory is just down the road? Seems a roundabout way to do it.

It was/is traditional for racing cars to be bought at the conclusion of a meeting, to ensure all the go-fast bits in as raced spec, wasn't it?

That would be a great addition to Nissan's squad, great for them to have a fresh blood in their squad. And a chance for Heimgartner to prove him a little bit more than in LDM or Super Black machinery.

If Mr Winterbottom went to 23RED, it would be the number of new engineers prodrive have given him since 2006

So will McLaughlin run the #1 or do what DJ did and stick with #17 next year

Will Coulthard switch to #17 next year if SM uses the #1?

Fullwood must have some budget too, having been able to fund three seasons of Super2 at 19 years of age!

To be fair, at 22 Heimgartner is not exactly an old fart (albeit a seasoned veteran of two full seasons of Super1 and two full seasons of Super2 !!).

However "old-fart-itis" perhaps is hampering the chances of Jacobsen to secure a drive at 27, and Davies at 25... Funny how the likes of Verstappen have changed the perception as to how old is too old to be considered a potential future champion vs future grid-filler.

On a similar basis, Brown at 19 years of age would also be an excellent choice for "future champion potential". Top 10 in debut season of Super2 is above average, albeit in top shelf equipment. Plus Brown's record of Formula 4 and 86 championship wins is very impressive. I guess Brown is too closely linked to 888 for other maingame teams to be interested yet?

Are Boost becoming another Wilson Security for the sport? Word is that they could be on as many as three different teams cars next year. And the third one would surprise if its right.

What a tool!!! Davidson was already shown the door once at PRA over Frosty & has now been shown the door at Techo.. Why in gods names would PRA what Davidson back? No thanks..

It's good when passion for motor racing overrules a rigourous ROI analysis!
