Elim Citroen 2CV 24 Hour Race Radio

Yes, we have arranged live coverage. The commentators will be Adam Weller, Tom Brookes, Lester Forbes and Scott Woodwiss.

The RSL radio broadcasting the commentary to the circuit environs wll be on 87.9fm. Note the slight change of frequency.

You can follow it on the web at: www.2cvracing.org.uk and at: www.downforce-radio.co.uk

To enhance the commentary going out on the web, we shall have four cameras. One will view the Corkscrew, one the pit lane and one the commentators while they work. There will be a walk-around camera in the pit lane, for pit lane interviews.

Coverage is grearly enhanced by live interviews, so please be ready to chat to the commentator doing interviews in the pit lane. And they will always welcome anyone, driver, crew, official or marshal, popping in to the commentary box to have a chat.

Yes, no on-boards this year, just too complicated, and expensive. The production is simpler, and hopefully better, than last year.

Do tell as many people as possible that we have this live coverage. Twitter, Facebook - please get the message out there.

haggispeed has a lot of promise if they can keep it on the circuit!
Latest I've seen is
17 2CV,
1 Economy 2CV - Restricted engine modifications, lower compression pistons, std cam
4 Euro 2CV
4 Mini endurance
Total of 98 drivers, probably similar number of engines and a load more tyres !
Another truly fun event

Mike Kelly 1 should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
Last years 2CV 24 hours was a fantastic event. Just 2 of us manning post 2 for over 36 hours. Sadly, due to family committments, I cant make the 24H this year. I hope everyone who marshals the event has a safe and enjoyable time. See you all at Anglesey for the Funcup meeting in late September.

Paul Newns should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
All of the forecasts I've seen today have indicated various levels of wet for most of Saturday and all of Sunday. Could be "interesting". Glad Terry sorted the shelter on the pit wall so we should have a bit of cover if the wind is in the right direction.

Got new jar of coffee so ready for the long slog. Just need the pork pies now.

damp is a nice way of putting it paul, that last shout in the safety car was nuts. every corner had a river running across it right on the braking point and there was a full on pond at the bottom of cork screw lol
