XK racing at Silverstone and Goodwood and Spa in the late 50's
Hello, I am trying to find information and photos of my XK120 FHC racing in the late 1950's. The car apparently was raced by a driver called Patrick Bellingham, but under the pseudonyms of Paddy Alan or Pat Bell. The car was registered PAT111, originally dark green but at some point the top half was painted in a cream or beige. I have been very lucky to talk to the original owner and he told me about his racing, including about an accident at Spa where he ran over a Marshall on the down slope to the starting line, when the Marshall ran across in front of him. The car was being used as a pace car in a sports car touring race ? It is also possible that the car was used for some club rallies, as in the only picture I have of the car in the 50's, it has spot lights on the front. Later when he stopped racing he did Marshalling in the 60's ?
Thank for your help John Ball |

Hi John,
Can't help you with your XK info I'm afraid, but would like to get contact details for you, never saw you since you moved on recently. Send a private message, or make contact via the market. James Owen |
