SLK55 should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
Hello Christian. Do you have any up to date daily schedule for the next race. Trying to get over, just need to make sure of travel times.
Also, now we are close, can you tell us who is confirmed to race. Its a long way to come from the UK if the turn out is poor.

Thanks

Hello Graham,
at the moment their is still no official schedule for Hockenheim published!
I will give you all the information as soon I received it.
What I know is that we will have on Friday afternoon the free practice, on Saturday qualifying and race 1 over 20 min and on Saturday (not too late) race 2 over 25 min.

About the grid...
A grid with less than 15 cars at Hockenheim would really (negative) surprise me...

Hi Christian

I guess you meant to say Race 2 on Sunday ?
Sounds like its going to be worth heading over for. Long drive from the ferry port though, so will prob be later on Friday before I get there. Can you leave a car pass and two tickets on the gate

Cheers

Graham

Oh yes, sorry, I meant Race 2 on Sunday, thx!
A car pass and two tickets?
Have already a big list with ticket wishes for the first BOSS GP race ever, but I will try my best.
I'm sure we will find a positive solution for you!

Don't worry Graham, I have your tix and the car pass already at home!

For all the others!
I would give 10 guest tickets for free for the first ever BOSS GP race at the Hockenheim F1 circuit, 16-18 April 2010, 'Hockenheim Historic GP'!

If somebody is interested send me simply a short PM!

Excellent Christian. Thank you. I'll contact you closer to the date to arrange how I can get them on arrival at the track. I'm unlikely to be there before 9pm on the Friday evening.

Cheers

Ian, for our current 2010 sporting regulations we have decided to go the more safety way (in our opinion) > rolling start!
I would love to have the standing start back and therefore you may be sure that I will discuss this once again with our drivers later in the season.

BOSS GP 2010

For all of you who are really interested in BOSS racing and the 'BOSS GP' Series, a short entry information for our opening round 2010 and the first-ever 'BOSS GP' race!

At the moment we have received 19 entries for Hockenheim!
(...and possibly it's still not the end...)

The detailed entry list we will publish in the week before the event on the official 'BOSS GP' website!

The driver which we have given a free entry for Hockenheim is probably a real BOSS Racing legend.

Anyway, this driver is not in the current entry list and I also think we will not see him (unfortunately) at Hockenheim, these are the facts.

Congrats Christian and the others who have worked hard to get this going quickly. I'll be following as best I can from the US.

Christian, I'll look forward to the entry list. I heard a rumor that there might be another owner of a recent Champ Car and he was interested in BOSS GP, but maybe running another powerplant. I hope I heard some of that correctly. So it will be interesting to see what is developing.

correct, Peter Milavec bought an ex Minardi USA(R.Doornbos) Panoz DP01 and fitted the AER LMP1 4.0 V8 biturbo engine which did run successful in the hands of John Field in the ALMS.
I understand they are shaking the car down right at this moment...
should be interesting as the engine is unrestricted ;-)
all going well i understand he will be racing in Hockenheim...

Interesting combination. Though I suppose fitting a Judd 4.0 V10 was considered a bit interesting when that was first done.
I may have misread but I think I saw that the AER engine had over 800bhp in unrestricted spec in the ALMS. Certainly watching Jon Field on the straights at Sebring, Utah, Petit le mans etc was quite a spectactle as he blasted past pretty much anything.

I'm interested to see this on track

it was significantly more than 800 on the dyno...
both in terms of power and torque...:-D
i understand the engine had to be detuned to help the diff not destroying itself...*gg*
