A full compliment of Morgan/Triumph SLR's will be good to see, gorgeous styling and hand worked aluminium panels demonstrating superb workmanship.

Let's hope they all survive, as I'm taking the shiny one to Barcelona at the end of the month, and racing the red one at Imola later in April. The green one is due to go to that meeting as well.....

Nice to say hello to Justracing today. I managed four laps before the newly rebuilt gearbox packed up. Still that's what testing is about I suppose.

Good to chat, so sorry about the gearbox, I walked down to the chicane and the car looked great(briefly) in the sunshine

Iain, is that Cooper Maserati by any chance the ex Jonty Williamson hill climb car? When it had a Chrysler engine.

There's a just giving page set up for Henry Hope-Frost here https://www.justgiving.com/crowdfund...term=92P9rnM8N

Anyone interested can donate. It's to support his family at this tragic time.

Posted here rather than tributes but Mike or John are free to move it if necessary.

Copied to tributes, as in my opinion just as appropriate to have on this thread as well.

I see Tim Barry entered in his March 76A . Wasn't this car powered by a Ford GA engine previously ?

Could this be the year when the weather eventually plays a hand in the meeting? Currently forecast for ‘Son of’ beast from the east to hit the UK at the end of the week, with overnight frost, temps just above freezing on Sunday and possible light snow in the morning.......

I’ll be tucked up warm with link to the YouTube stream saved ready! With Sebring 12 on Saturday as well, plenty to watch from the comfort of the old sofa.

Actually entered by Goodwood themselves in the missing March 76A/2 Chev which was last seen in the U.S. in single seat Can-Am in about 1979. We do still have 76A/1 which does have the GA but it needs a major rebuild after my little bump in 2014. We will be there, though, with our Trojan T102.

That will be a real shame if it does snow but bound to happen sooner or later at such an event held this time of year. Conversely the first of the modern era MM's (number 73 was it) was glorious sunshine and pretty warm.

Good luck Peter and any other 'Tenthers' competing or attending in any capacity.

Haven't you moved into that old Volvo yet??

It's Rallye Touquet & Arras Classic show here this weekend, then off to Techno Classica next week.
