Cheaper Tyres for FF1600
A while ago someone on Ten-Tenths suggested that tyres in South Africa cost half of what they do here in the UK. Did anyone follow this up? I would be more than interested. I will use about 5 sets this year. I wonder what shipping would be?

Twas I that posted about the RSA half price tyres, but I haven't followed it up. |

If the cost of getting some shipped over and the import costs meant they were cheaper, then yes I am interested. We just need to know some figures.
But I should imagine the quantity would have to be pretty large to make it all worth doing. |

Who are the South African FF guys getting their tyres through - avonracing.com don't list a supplier in South Africa. I have a contact out there who's trying to get hold of some prices just so that we have some factual figures to work with.
