Good Times should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
F1 track exit

How long does it take to get 20 miles away from a F1 race at each circuit if going by car, after the meeting has finished.

We don't go to F1 races any more, bit to much for the aged wallet to bear but a few years ago (many) before Silverstone came under threat from Bernie, I think Nige was racing (ok, so it was a lot of years ago) it took 4 hours to get in an 8 hours to get out. Basically what had happened is that in their wisdom the organisers had asked for volunteers to man the car parks as there were none there when chucking out time came it was reasonable to assume they had all watched the race, parked by the gate and legged it, the practical upshot was that the first 3 landrovers made a dash for the one gate and everyone fanned out behind them and that was how it stayed deep into the night with nobody budging an inch. Ah, happy days.
Our man had gone out in the first lap before we saw him once, IIRC Nige won.

Albert Park would be about an hour, depending on whether you walk or catch public transport to get to your car. The area around track (it's in a built up area) is a car free zone (with special passes for locals)

Unless you know the right people and park by the main gate

Silverstone this year took me an hour from trackside to home (20 miles away) the hardest part was walking through the crowds

not much specific info on timescales but for a shedton of locations for the circuits...

the nurburgring is a constant solid traffic jam all weekend, single carriageway roads with enough room for 2 queues of traffic each way. hockenheim is right next to a motorway and can throw traffic straight onto it through a service area.

monza is only accessible through the town of monza and the park, so it gets pretty snarled up. silverstone is much improved thanks to the park and ride system and the a43. barcelona is fairly close to the motorway but throws traffic out onto two single carriageway roads (iirc?). magny cours is a fair way on single carriageway roads, though they've just upgraded that to a dual carriageway that runs right past the circuit. paul ricard is about 10km from the motorway and the roads are all single carriageway between the circuit and there.

monaco is effectively a park and ride event, where the majority use the train network which is well managed and efficient so long as you avoid the big rush after the race on sunday.

the hungaroring is accessed from the motorway by single carriageway through small towns. it gets pretty busy, even though it's not far from a railway station on the suburban budapest network and there's buses from budapest itself. spa is also single carriageways and is pretty busy. you usually park either in privately owned carparks for a fair penny or a long way from the circuit and walk (unless that's changed?)

I just take a load of food n drink and have a party in the back of the van, then drive out whithout any grief.
I went to see the Eagles at the hop farm the other week and did just that, but several people just sat with engines running for about an hour including a girl in a KA parked next to me that must have moved all of 10ft (less than the length of my van) in that time
