What's up with Ben?

I remember the talk in recent years of "the aliens." Right now, I acknowledge two top class riders: Stoner and Lorenzo. Vale is obviously having issues, and I just don't see Dani at the level of Casey or Jorge. What I am having trouble with in my head is evaluating Jorge vs. Casey.

A very impressive effort from Tech3. Are they getting more support from Yamaha than the satellite Honda teams?

I will lock in and say Cal will be the first of the "non 3" as Dani put it to get a podium.

Finally, I think the black San Carlo Gresini livery on Alvaro's bike is fantastic.

Couple of my pics from Jerez for anyone interested:

It was impossible not to be impressed by Crutchlow this weekend. I've said in the past that I didnt rate him all that highly but in the opening two races I've been amazed by him.

This was Bradl on his opening stint in the warmp up, I think it was his first or second flying lap. Whereas everyone else was easing into the corner he was really aggressive and wasnt afraid of the kerbs or the white lines.

In Qatar I was shocked to see Romano Fenati battle with Vinales and it didnt really come as a surprise to see him win so soon after it. He looks absolutely superb and when he won the race the entire press room was cheering and clapping for him. I cant ever remember seeing anyone adapt so easily to GP racing

This is one of my favourite photos of Moto3 from the weekend. Its in the warmup and shows Vinales and Cortese battling to the line. It was a tough weekend for Maverick but he did well to battle back from his off track excursion at the start of the race

If the race was wetter I think Zarco would have been really interesting to watch. In the practice sessions he was really strong and I gotta say his livery is fantastic!

Unfortunately not...work gets in the way every now and then! Im hoping to be up at the North West 200 though in a couple of weeks which should be pretty cool but it clashes with the French GP. Im going to the F1 races in Spain and Monaco though so should be kept busy for the next couple of weeks! I'd say the next MotoGP race Ill get to be will be Silverstone which seems an age away now! It's been really good getting to the opening two races, I know I didnt give a lot of insight here but hopefully the few bits and pieces I did was useful for yous

Credit cards are a wonderful thing Chunder! It's not that hard to get passes as long as you have a portfolio to back up the application. Are you still writing? They're a lot more accommodating to web writers now than they were in the past
