WHT meeting

Formula Ford 2000 at the Walter Hayes Trophy

Don't forget a Formula Ford 2000 race takes place as a support to the Walter Hayes Trophy again this year.

FF2000 action is on Sunday 4th November, and Entry Forms are available from either myslef of the Historic Sports Car Club.

THE HAGGIS TROPHY FOR CLUBMANS CARS
SUNDAY 4th NOVEMBER 2007 @ THE WALTER HAYES TROPHY

Don't forget that the Haggis Trophy for Clubmans cars will take place at The Walter Hayes Trophy on Sunday November 4th.

This is a great end-of-season race for the category, and entry forms are available from myself or the HSCC.

James if you are short of entries you could always make it a two class race and add pre 2000 FRenaults....

I would enter a couple of F4's if a class was included for the Club Class Renaults.

If they were going to open it up to single seaters upto 2l I think you will find that F4 Class A is MUCH closer to FF2000 than Formula Renault. In fact our cars are FF2000 just with an 1800 zetec

Ah, I see. More to the point what age of FF2000's are allowed and what tyres must be used?

All Formula Ford 200 cars are eligible up to a cut off age of Pre 83.

Is it to Pre 83 tyre regs? i e using Avons as specified for the URS formula. We do have an 81 FF2000, but it hasn't been used for some years and would take a bit of patting into shape, never the less, it is a tempting idea to try.

I checked with HSCC last week and I was told this isnt a pre 1983 race - just a ff2000 pinto race. I've entered my SF86 Reynard which I run in CFFC (pre 88 FF2000)

That is news to me - but I am pleased to see all FF2000 cars on-track at the WHT.
