F1FansClub should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid

What would it be then? Try to leave Ferrari's and McLaren F1's out please as we all know we would like one of them!

My choice would either be the Grinnal Scorpion - the three wheeler from Toca 2 or the Campagna T-Rex. See picture.

So what would be yours?

That Chrysler prototype based on the Bugatti T57, or just a T57 - beautiful car. For something to drag around a track - Mclaren M23 or Lotus 72.

Dream car.... other than an exotic we are all lusting after.

I saw this Roy Brizio 1932 Ford Hiboy roadster on this weekends NHRA broadcast and fell in love. The paint has so many layers of pearl in it it changes colors while the car sits still. Lovely.

... you really had to ask?

The four-and-a-half litre Bentley.

The king of all motor cars, the knight of all the road, the machine for which all others reverently stand aside.

When a fellow is young, he seeks the fastest of dalliances, and his head is easily turned by the shallowest of appearance. But as maturity develops, he finds he needs something a little more lasting, more substantial. A companion that will see him through all that life can cast at him.

And what better? The bright headlights, to guide me on my way, the soft leather of the seats within the hand crafted structure of the car, the powerful workmanlike engine which will take me swiftly to wherever I should wish to go, and what else?

The winged "B", atop the gleaming radiator like a tiara, announcing that I am aboard the ONLY way to travel.

I will concede that there are other makes of car, but they are as nothing compared to the vintage Bentley, whose reputation stands above all, unsullied, indomitable, unrivalled and shall be for as long as there is petrol, and for evermore.

The above image, by the way, was found on Stanley Mann's website, where that particular car is for sale, at around a quarter of a million quid....

...I'm just off to rob a bank.

Well if we're not allowed to talk about any red italian cars, I guess I'd have to vote for the original AC Cobra.

Basically any cabriolet with a nice sporty engine. A Mercedes SLK would do nicely. Who was that I heard calling me a poser??

Minardi fan - couldn't you find a picture of this year's car???

Very boring, but an M3 convertible will do me nicely thanks... Or, as I can't afford that, a VW Corrado VR6 (then again, couldn't afford the insurance on that...!! )

I'm going to split a few hairs and stick to my beloved Ferrari Dino - it's "not really" a Ferrari and a lot of the snobby people in Monte Carlo won't let it park in their parking lots ... but it is my car and I love it.

Or of course my Lamborghini, if I ever get it out of the pool.

Liz, my dear, the Lambo's dead. The engine's full of chlorine, I knicked the wiper blades, and I think Maisie has the wheels on her Maestro...

Me, I'm easily pleased...

Fortunately my midnight blue Lamborghini is parked at my New Secret Location, and only Vito and Zonta and Gerard know where that is!

Well you did say dream car right?

So I think I choose a Brand new "Jaguar E type F1, Convertable" with a V10 Cosworth engine, a rev limiter set at 15,000. This model also has paddle gear shift, semi auto. seven speed transmission, traction control, 4 wheel steering, ABS, 18" wheels and Sandra Bullock in the passenger seat(Good news..she's with me)

Steph, if you want this year's GORGEOUS M02, here ya go:

But last year's car was nicer. Last year's car was BEAUTIFUL.

Maestros and wheels are a touchy subject right now:

Current "shopping list" (apart from Maestro spares!!) consists of:

Vanden Plas 1500 (Allegro shape)
Austin A35
Maestro (Tandy converstion) camper van

Just about anything else nice will do, but on the classic rather than sporty side. Oh, and a huuuge garage to put them all in. I won't let the Maestro go though, even though it does have suicidal tendencies at the moment.

Ouch! Two strips of automotive Bandaid! Stat!!

Hexie's wheels are indeed, hexagonal...

Sorry Maisie. I hope she's fixed (and better than new) soon.

This year's sort of resembles a Jordan (I can't tell the two apart from a distance). Both are doing pretty badly...(I am so, so sorry, Minardi fan)

I'd quite happily settle for any Jag, but especially one that looks like this.

or this

As it is I think the nearest I'm ever likely to get is if I ever find myself working in a museum that has one in its collection

You never know Carrie, top notch Mk2 Jags only go for new Mondeo money, and if you factor in deprciation running costs shouldn't be too different either.

Me, I'll just have to wait and inherit my Dad's (Mk2 Jag that is, not the Alfa I've mentioned earlier in this thread, mores the pity).
